Glenn Engler

Chief Executive Officer

Glenn Engler is an industry veteran with nearly three decades of experience in the marketing and communications world. As Chief Executive Officer of Digital Influence Group, Glenn oversees the agency’s strategic direction and operations and serves as senior advisor to established brands like IBM, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, Glidden Paint, GE, Allstate and Reebok.  A digital marketing and social media thought leader, Glenn has spoken at a number of industry conferences and often shares his expertise contributing articles to outlets like MarketingProfs, AdvertisingAge, DIGIDAY and BostInno. Glenn speaks at numerous industry events and hosts a podcast series called Market Edge, interviewing industry-leading marketers and innovators, authors a blog called Random Patterns of Thoughts, and can be reached on Twitter @glennengler.

Prior to joining Digital Influence Group in 2010, Glenn spent nearly a decade at Digitas, where he led the transformation of the Boston region into one of the agency’s highest performing regions in terms of client growth, profitability, industry recognition and employee development. He served as senior advisor to C-level clients and was responsible for creative strategy and execution in website, digital marketing, direct marketing/CRM, mobile, social, promotions and DRTV channels. He was executive owner of the General Motors, OnStar, Sirius/XM, Home Depot, Goodyear and Stop & Shop relationships.

Prior to Digitas, Glenn served as Vice President and Partner at Mercer Management Consulting, now known as Oliver Wyman Group and a subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan. In that role from 1996-2001, he sold and led growth and strategy engagements across a wide variety of industries including automotive, retail and financial services. From 1991-1996, Glenn was Vice President and Managing Director of Epsilon Data Management, where he led customer profitability and acquisition and retention and loyalty initiatives for key clients including American Express, Tribune, Amtrak, Dayton-Hudson and The Limited. Glenn began his career as a marketing manager at F.W. Dodge and as a regional economist at Data Resources, Inc.

Glenn holds B.A. and M.A. degrees in Economics from Tufts University.
