Chief Financial Officer
Rich McCarthy was named Chief Financial Officer in February 2011, bringing his expertise in financial and operations management, regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions and capital/fundraising. Rich has worked in both the professional services and hi- tech sectors throughout his career.
Prior to joining Digital Influence Group, Rich served as the Chief Financial Officer of Ropes & Gray, an AMLaw 100 international law firm. During his tenure at Ropes & Gray he oversaw all aspects of financial operations and accounting and oversaw the openings of offices in Europe and Asia. Prior to Ropes, Rich worked at Digitas (publically traded marketing firm) serving as SVP of Finance, with oversight of the firm’s financial operations including financial planning & analysis, general accounting, tax and SEC compliance. His tenure at Digitas culminated in the divisional CFO role with the recently acquired Modem Media (publically traded marketing agency). While at Modem, Rich oversaw the financial and operational integration of the two firms.
Previously, Rich worked for Fidelity Capital and NCR Corporation. Rich is a Certified Public Accountant and holds an MBA from Babson College and a Bachelors degree in Finance from the University of Massachusetts. Rich also serves on the Board of Directors at the MSPCC (Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children).
