Jade Longstaff – Senior Producer

1. How would you explain what you do for work in 3 sentences or less to your 7 year old niece?

I tell people where they need to be, when and what they should be doing and for how long. Then I set up meetings to discuss how they can try to do things better and faster. The end result is a whole lot of buzz on the Internet about the cool companies that hire us.

2. What is the last book you read?

“The Other Boleyn Girl” by Philippa Gregory. I love historically-based trashy novels.

3. If someone wrote a biography about you, what would the title be?

“Beer, babies and being”

4. What is your favorite drink?

Beer – specifically a nice hoppy IPA with piney notes and a subtle grapefruit flavor.

5. Are you married? Do you have any kids?

Yep. Married with 2 adorable little kids under the age of 3. My husband is a rock-star, home-brewer of fabulously hoppy beer. We are both craft beer aficionados who love to take road trips to discover new breweries every change we get.

Newest fave is a video of the band Walk Off the Earth covering a Gotye song:

7. Have you in the past or would you ever bungee jump or sky dive?

Nope. I had a horrible experience white water rafting after college (fell out of the boat… twice) so I tend to stay away from those types of adrenaline rushing activities.

8. What is your first memory?

My dad was an auto mechanic who raced cars on the weekend when I was little. I recall riding in his racecar on the way to the race — it had no interior whatsoever (no seats, no seat belts, no paneling or carpet, etc.) and looking through a hole in the rotted bottom of the car and seeing the road below us. Not safe, but boy was it fun!

9. Do you have any hidden talents or interesting hobbies?

I have tons of useless knowledge about the music I grew up listening to. I can pretty much tell you the artist of any random classic rock song. I also ran the Dublin marathon in 2001 for the Arthritis Foundation after raising over $2500 for the cause.
