“10 Questions” with Scott Ludwig

Scott Ludwig – Senior Manager, Media & Marketing

1. How would you explain what you do for work in 3 sentences or less to your 7 year old niece?

You know how you want your mom to buy you things when you see commercials on TV? Well I use the computer to get your mom to buy things too. Now go and tell your mom to buy [insert client product here].

2. What are your favorite smells?

Bacon, vanilla and a freshly struck match

3. What is your favorite drink?

Iced Tea (if asked sweetened or unsweetened I’d go with the latter)

4. If you could be a superhero, what superpowers would you want to have?

Hands down the ability to teleport anywhere.

5. What is your favorite cereal?

Cinnamon Toast Crunch

6. What is your first memory?

When I was 2 years old my mom went to open the car door to let me out. Little did she know that I had taken off my seat belt and was leaning against the door. As soon as the door opened I tumbled out and hit my face on the curb. There was blood everywhere and my two front teeth had been pushed in. I had to get my teeth pulled which led to me spending the next 6 years of my life without front teeth. As you can imagine life with a lisp and without front teeth is not great for your self-esteem at that age….

7. When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

I wanted to hunt zombies.

8. Are you afraid of anything?

I HATE snakes. I can easily deal with any other types of bugs or rodents, but you put a snake in front of me and I’ll scream like a sissy little girl.

9. Name three places you want to visit before you kick the bucket.

First place would definitely be a hospital to maybe prevent me from kicking the bucket, but other than that Italy and Alaska.

10. What is your favorite website, blog or online community?

Gizmodo. When flying cars, jet packs and cell phones that cook dinner become available to everyone I want to be on top of that.

Bonus Question: Who is the most AWESOME person in the entire world?

Well that’s a no brainer! My beautiful, funny, smart and sassy bride and new wife, Ginger (who also happens to manage the DIG website and this blog). She is THE BEST!!!!
