Food: Fried haddock sandwich
Be ready to wait in line! Although most of the dishes are sandwiches, “Go Fish” deep fries at least one part of each of their menu items which could definitely hurt your calorie count if you’re on a diet. Their food prep leads to long lines, so this place is not recommended if you’re in a hurry. Overall, the food is good, but it’s not really worth the significant wait. The prices also seem a bit higher than other food trucks averaging around 8 bucks.

Food: Fried haddock sandwich
The line is a bit much… Very slow-moving compared to other food trucks I’ve been to (which includes quite a lot) and then you also have to wait quite a while for your food after you’ve ordered. While this makes me feel a bit better about eating fish from a truck, (clearly they’re cooking to order) it’s a bit annoying to spend 30 minutes door to door. While it’s a little more pricey than I would normally spend on lunch ($7.75 for just the sandwich) it was quite delicious. I highly recommend the red pepper tartar sauce. Yum. If you’ve got a little extra cash and time, go with a friend to make the time pass more quickly and enjoy the tasty fish. Oh. And they don’t do Level Up. Big bumsies.

Food: Cat Fish Tacos
If you’re expecting either a delicious crunchy taco or a soft shell taco then you are in luck because you get both with this order. Not two tacos, but a hybrid version and not in a good way. I think the biggest flaw with this was the packaging. A small plastic container supporting both tacos, piled high with slaw, beans and pico de gallo made the corn shells transform into wet, napkin-like components of the dish. Virtually impossible nor desirable to eat. Fail #1. The “shoestring fries” were underwhelming as well due to the fact that they in no way, shape or form resembled your typical shoestring fry. Huge let down. Fail #2. The “Cool Beans Salad” was a crisp and refreshing side dish that I would order as a meal next time. Highly recommended. Win.

Food: Slider Sampler (which includes 1 Crab Cake, 1 Crisp Smoked Cod and 1 Chorizo Cake with Pickled Onions and Chipotle Mayo, and 1 mini Lobster Roll)
The line was too long — I think it took 30 minutes between the time we got in line and all received our food. The Sampler was good since you get a couple different tastes of the sandwiches, but it wasn’t perfect. You do get a surprising amount of lobster in the little lobster sandwich, but the crab cake didn’t have a ton of flavor and the smoked cod cake was SO smokey and salty I felt like I was eating Lox! Scott and I also got a side of the Cool Beans Salad, which was good — despite the fact that it was beans, it was somehow light and summery. It was about $8.50 for the Sampler and $2.25 for the side of Cool Beans Salad.
