Where are you, now?

Ever find you’re running late for an appointment or get a phone call from someone saying they are lost and need directions?  A friend of mine told me about Glympse, an app (for iPhone, Android, WinPhone7 and Blackberry) that shares your location for a specific amount of time with an invited individual (who can view it on a Mobile or computer).

Great thing is that you can now verify the often used excuse of: sorry I’m late – I was ‘stuck in traffic’, find out how fast your teen is driving when they are on the highway, or make sure that someone arrived at a location OK.   The app shares your location, how fast you are driving and estimated time of arrival.

You can see a demo at: http://glympse.com/.

Neat app and use of location-based services.
